The Role
You’ll be responsible for the setting, operating, and milling of precision components to exact specifications. Working in a well-equipped workshop, you’ll produce high-quality parts for a range of industries and play an important role in maintaining the company’s reputation for quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered components
- Work from technical drawings and specifications
- Carry out first-off and in-process inspection to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and safe
- Collaborate effectively with other machinists and engineers
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller in a precision engineering environment
- Confident in setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Experience using Fanuc controls (ideal but not essential)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- A flexible team player with a positive attitude, suited to a small, friendly company
