The Role

You’ll be responsible for the setting, operating, and milling of precision components to exact specifications. Working in a well-equipped workshop, you’ll produce high-quality parts for a range of industries and play an important role in maintaining the company’s reputation for quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered components
  • Work from technical drawings and specifications
  • Carry out first-off and in-process inspection to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and safe
  • Collaborate effectively with other machinists and engineers

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller in a precision engineering environment
  • Confident in setting and operating CNC milling machines
  • Experience using Fanuc controls (ideal but not essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • A flexible team player with a positive attitude, suited to a small, friendly company
