The Role
We are working with a well-established training provider looking to onboard an Associate Trainer to deliver Level 1 & 2 Warehousing & Storage and Health & Safety programmes across South Yorkshire. This is a delivery-focused role, delivering engaging, practical training to adult learners on-site. 10-day delivery model, with courses running on a regular, rolling basis.
Upcoming Delivery Dates (initial)
- 13/05/2026 - 27/05/2026 (excluding weekends and bank holidays)
- 28/05/2026 - 10/06/2026 (excluding weekends)
There will be ongoing delivery opportunities throughout the year, offering flexibility to accept work based on your availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 1 & 2 Warehousing & Storage and Health & Safety training
- Support learners through course content and practical elements
- Ensure delivery aligns with awarding body standards (e.g. Highfield)
- Maintain accurate learner records and attendance
Essential Requirements
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS, Cert Ed, DET or equivalent)
- Experience delivering training within warehousing, logistics, or health & safety
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to travel to delivery sites in Barnsley / Doncaster
Desirable
- Experience delivering Highfield accredited courses
- Warehouse, FLT (Forklift Truck) knowledge or instructional experience
- Assessing qualification (e.g. CAVA)
