Our client is looking for an experienced Dell Boomi Integration Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise integration programme. The role will focus on designing, developing and delivering integration solutions using Dell Boomi AtomSphere, connecting multiple enterprise platforms across cloud and on-premise environments. This is a hands-on technical position requiring strong Boomi development experience, API integration knowledge and the ability to support complex integration landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable integration solutions using Dell Boomi AtomSphere, including process development, data mapping and profile configuration.
- Create and manage secure Managed File Transfer (MFT) workflows to support high-volume and sensitive data transfers.
- Publish, secure and govern REST/SOAP APIs through Boomi API Management, including gateway configuration, throttling and developer portal management.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Azure DevOps or Jenkins, supporting automated testing and controlled promotion between environments.
- Provide 3rd-line production support, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, error resolution and performance optimisation.
Required Experience:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Dell Boomi AtomSphere (Process, Mapping, Profiles) alongside Boomi MFT and Boomi API Management.
- Strong enterprise integration background, connecting cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS with on-premise technologies including SQL, Oracle and JMS.
- Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, automated testing frameworks and supporting production environments.
- Strong understanding of API design principles, Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs), synchronous/asynchronous messaging and secure authentication protocols including OAuth2 and SAML.
- Must hold active SC Clearance or BPSS (sole UK Nationals only).
Desirable Experience:
- Dell Boomi certification.
- Knowledge of containerisation (Docker/K8s).
