Overview
An exciting company that produces a range of technical solutions to the supply chain sector is looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to progress their solutions and lead the team. You will be leading a team of 4-6 developers, collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders. In addition to leading the team, you will be hands-on with the code to direct the solutions and leave your creative mark on the product. This role also involves people management, mentoring the team, and demonstrating value across the business. There is a pathway to CTO in the long term.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 4-6 developers and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Be hands-on in the codebase to help direct solutions and contribute technically.
- Mentor team members, conduct 1-to-1s, code reviews, and support professional growth.
- Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into sophisticated software solutions.
- Help determine future technology direction and product roadmap.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Developer (in C# .NET, SQL, Azure) with experience leading/managing teams
- Experience leading projects, performing 1-to-1s, code reviews and mentoring
- Liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate requirements into software solutions
