The Role
We are representing a fast-growing financial services business that has built strong partnerships with dealerships across the UK. As part of their continued expansion, they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (Motor Finance) to join the team. This is a field-based position where you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with a wide range of dealers, from large franchise groups through to independent retailers, prestige specialists, and caravan or motorhome outlets. You’ll spend most of your time out in the field meeting partners face-to-face, supported by regular contact with head office.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Securing new business opportunities with car dealerships
- Strengthening and supporting relationships with existing partners
- Promoting a range of tailored motor finance products
- Providing consultative support to help dealers increase sales
- Managing your own regional patch with a high level of autonomy
About You
- At least 2 years\’ experience in motor finance or automotive finance sales
- A proven background in managing dealership accounts and growing new business
- Results-driven with strong organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to build long-lasting relationships
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
Note: experience in motor finance is essential for this role.
What’s On Offer
- Basic salary of £40,000
- Uncapped commission with realistic earnings of £80,000+ OTE
- Company car or car allowance
- Company pension scheme
- Flexibility to manage your own week (typically four days in the field, one day admin/remote)
