We're working with an established and growing software and technology business that develops specialist platforms used by major organisations across the UK and internationally. They are looking for an experienced
Systems & Software Trainer
to design, develop, deliver and continuously improve product and technical training programmes for both internal employees and external clients. The role will play an important part in product adoption, business readiness, client onboarding and professional development, helping users build confidence and capability when working with complex software solutions.
What you'll be doing
Deliver engaging classroom, virtual, workshop and hands-on training programmes for employees and external clients. Facilitate software training across a range of product functionality, workflows, configuration, administration, reporting and troubleshooting. Design and deliver practical exercises, sandbox-based learning activities and competency assessments. Develop, maintain and enhance instructor-led, eLearning, blended-learning and digital training content. Create engaging learning materials including user guides, quick-reference guides, videos, simulations, knowledge articles and online learning resources. Provide coaching, mentoring and product knowledge support to new and existing employees. Work closely with product, technical and wider business stakeholders to understand learning needs and continuously improve training programmes. Support wider adoption and change activity by ensuring users are confident and competent with new and existing systems.
What we're looking for
Previous experience delivering
software, systems, application or technical training . Experience training both
internal employees and external customers/clients . Strong experience creating digital learning content, ideally including screen recording, video editing and presentation tools. Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills. Excellent organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple training requirements. A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
