Network Engineer | Cisco Meraki | Cardiff, Wales | 5 days onsite | 6 Months | Inside IR35 | Rate depends on experience The Role We're looking for two Network Engineers to support network operations across multiple venues throughout Wales.
The roles are focused on Cisco Meraki, Wi Fi and network support.
This is an ideal opportunity for engineers with experience in large scale public environments, where network performance and reliability are critical.
Key Responsibilities Provide network support across Cisco Meraki switching, wireless and security environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve wired and wireless connectivity issues across multiple venues.
Support Wi Fi deployment, optimisation and performance testing in high-density environments.
Configure and support Meraki Access Points, VLANs, SSIDs and security policies.
Carry out wireless surveys, coverage validation and RF troubleshooting.
Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, venue operations and external suppliers.
Document network configurations, incidents and operational procedures.
What We're Looking For Experience in network engineering or network support.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki environments.
Good understanding of: Wireless networking / 802.11, TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP & DNS, Routing & switching
Strong troubleshooting skills across wired and wireless networks.
Experience supporting enterprise or large-scale environments.
Willingness to work onsite and flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required for live events.
