We are looking for an experienced EUC Platform Architect to join a major transformation programme supporting a global financial services organisation. This is a senior technical leadership position where you will be responsible for defining the architecture vision, setting platform standards, and providing design governance throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You will act as the key architectural authority for the EUC platform, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise requirements. The role will involve owning detailed technical designs, guiding engineering teams, and leading formal design approval sessions with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end architecture design of the EUC platform
  • Develop and maintain High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD)
  • Establish technical standards, patterns, and best practices across the platform
  • Drive architecture governance, including design reviews and approval boards
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate architectural vision into successful implementation
  • Present technical solutions and recommendations to senior client stakeholders
  • Ensure designs meet the security, compliance, and operational expectations of a regulated financial environment
Core Technology Environment

The successful candidate will have strong experience designing and delivering solutions across:

  • Omnissa Horizon VDI - essential, with recent and demonstrable experience
  • IGEL OS - thin client deployments and endpoint solutions
  • Island.io Enterprise Browser
  • Microsoft Intune, Entra ID and Apple Business Manager (ABM)
Candidate Profile

We are seeking a proven EUC architect who can demonstrate:

  • Extensive, current experience architecting Omnissa Horizon environments
  • Previous delivery experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries
  • Strong architectural governance experience, including ownership of HLD/LLD documentation
  • Confidence presenting designs, challenging technical decisions, and gaining stakeholder approval
  • Experience defining enterprise-scale EUC solutions rather than purely operational support
  • Experience across the wider EUC stack, particularly IGEL, Island.io and Apple Business Manager, would be highly desirable.
