We're working with a large, well-established UK organisation that is investing significantly in the growth of its digital capabilities. Following continued business success, they're expanding their engineering team to support the development of modern, customer-facing digital products built on a headless, API-first architecture.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Full Stack Developer with a strong frontend focus to join a collaborative technology team delivering large-scale web applications using modern frameworks and engineering practices. While this is a full stack role, the emphasis is very much on the frontend. If you're passionate about building high-quality user experiences with Nuxt.js (or Vue.JS), but are comfortable working with APIs and collaborating across the full stack, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
Working as part of an Agile development team, you'll help design, build and enhance customer-facing applications used at scale. You'll work closely with UX designers, QA engineers and backend developers to deliver high-quality, accessible and performant digital experiences. The business has embraced AI-assisted software development as part of its engineering culture, so you'll also have the opportunity to work with modern AI tooling while maintaining high standards of code quality, security and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern web applications using Vue.js and Nuxt.js
- Build responsive, accessible and high-performing frontend experiences
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Contribute to frontend architecture, reusable components and coding standards
- Work closely with backend developers throughout the development lifecycle
- Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and Agile delivery
- Produce clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Utilise AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery while maintaining ownership of code quality

- Strong commercial experience with Vue.js and Nuxt.js
- Solid JavaScript and/or TypeScript experience
- Experience building responsive, customer-facing web applications
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and modern frontend development
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs
- Understanding of backend development, ideally with Laravel/PHP or similar frameworks
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
- Git version control experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A passion for producing clean, maintainable, well-tested code
