Salary: Β£28,000 β Β£30,000 per annum
Location: Northamptonshire (commutable from Northampton, Milton Keynes, Daventry, Wellingborough, Brackley, Banbury and surrounding areas)
Hours: 9am β 5pm, Monday to Friday
The Opportunity
A fast-growing and award-winning technology business is looking for a Graduate Web Developer to join its expanding development team. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in web development, working on WordPress-based projects and gaining exposure to the latest technologies in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Working Arrangements
- First 6 months: 5 days per week onsite (office-based) for training, mentoring, and team integration
- After 6 months: Transition to a hybrid model with 2 days working from home each week
What You\βll Be Doing
- Building new and maintaining existing customer websites with a focus on responsive, user-friendly design
- Working closely with a Web Team Leader and wider teams to deliver high-quality solutions from concept through to rollout
- Implementing new features and integrating APIs to connect websites with backend services
- Participating in code reviews, problem-solving, and technical discussions to maintain best practice standards
What We\βre Looking For
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS
- Experience with WordPress development, including custom themes, post types, and functionality
- Basic understanding of PHP and version control tools such as Git
- A team player with strong analytical and communication skills, and an eagerness to learn and grow
Desirable (but Not Essential)
- Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, or deployment automation
