We are working with a well-established UK cyber security consultancy that is continuing to grow its penetration testing capability. They are now looking to hire a Cyber Security Consultant to deliver high-quality security testing across a varied client base including government and public sector organisations.

Location: Hybrid (Home working, Gloucestershire office and client site visits)

Salary: £45-50k + Expenses + Overnight Allowance (£25 p/night)

  • Deliver CHECK and non-CHECK penetration testing engagements
  • Conduct security testing across infrastructure, web applications, mobile, cloud and Active Directory environments
  • Produce high-quality technical reports and present findings to client stakeholders
  • Contribute to internal training materials and technical blog content
  • Proven hands-on penetration testing experience
  • Strong understanding of testing frameworks such as OWASP
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security standards including ISO 27001, CIS and PCI DSS
  • Experience working with Linux and Windows environments
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
