We are seeking an experienced DLP Policy Engineer to support a major enterprise data security transformation. This role will focus on migrating Symantec DLP policies and controls to the Zscaler Data Loss Prevention (DLP) platform, ensuring business-critical security requirements are maintained throughout the transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and understand the client's existing Symantec (Broadcom) DLP environment, policies, and data protection controls.
- Review current DLP policies across multiple data channels and identify migration requirements.
- Design, build, and implement equivalent DLP policies within the Zscaler DLP platform.
- Work closely with Zscaler specialists, internal engineering teams, and key stakeholders throughout the migration.
- Produce clear technical documentation covering policy design, configuration, testing outcomes, and implementation processes.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones on schedule.
- Provide knowledge transfer, training, and operational support to internal teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with Symantec (Broadcom) DLP is essential.
- Experience designing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise DLP policies within Symantec/Broadcom DLP.
- Experience with Zscaler DLP, including policy creation, migration, or administration, is highly desirable.
- Proven experience delivering DLP policy migration or transformation projects.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills within large enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of DLP policy testing, validation, and quality assurance.
