We're working with a growing UK cyber security consultancy delivering penetration testing services to government and public sector organisations. They're looking for a CHECK Team Member to join the team, delivering high-quality security assessments across a variety of client environments. This is a great opportunity for an experienced penetration tester with active SC clearance and CHECK status who wants to work on a broad range of challenging engagements. This is a remote position for candidates based within the UK, with a small client site requirement (90% remote, 10% on site average) with all travel expenses covered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering CHECK penetration testing engagements across client environments
- Conducting infrastructure, web application, cloud, and Active Directory security assessments
- Identifying vulnerabilities and providing practical remediation advice
- Producing clear, high-quality technical reports for clients
- Supporting and collaborating with a wider team of cyber security consultants on varied projects
- Maintaining testing activities in line with NCSC CHECK methodologies
Requirements:
- Active SC Clearance (essential)
- Current CHECK Team Member status (essential)
- Proven experience delivering penetration testing engagements
- Knowledge of infrastructure, web application, and cloud security testing
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Excellent understanding of common vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security best practices
- Willingness to travel to client sites occasionally
Package:
- £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
