Financial Analyst
to join their finance team in Staffordshire.
This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified CIMA/ACCA candidate looking for a dual-purpose role that blends management accounting with hands-on financial analysis, data manipulation, and reporting across multiple business units.
What you'll be doing: Preparing management accounts, commentary, KPIs and variance analysis for board review Site-level and business unit reporting Margin reporting and analysis Supporting the annual budget and reforecasting process Assisting with year-end audit Producing and analysing financial, sales, purchasing, stock and operational data Identifying trends, patterns, risks and opportunities within large datasets Building and maintaining Excel/Power BI reports, charts, and dashboards (sales, margin, operations) Providing analytical support to operational teams on stocktake, purchasing, and cost variances Liaising with operational teams, suppliers, and customers to verify information and resolve queries Identifying opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, and efficiency Supporting continuous improvement of current processes Handling ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests What we're looking for: Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA Solid bookkeeping and accounting skills Experience with an ERP/accounting system (e. g.
Sage) is advantageous Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) Power BI skills - dashboard design and reporting SQL experience is advantageous Strong communication skills, both telephone and interpersonal Interested?
