Cabling Engineer (Fibre & Testing) | 3 Months (Possible Extension) | Sandwich, Kent | £160-£170 p/day

Location: Sandwich, Kent
Contract length: 3 Months (strong possibility of extension)
Working hours: Monday to Friday (standard site hours)
Start date: ASAP
Rate: £160-£170 p/day

Our client is seeking experienced Cabling Engineers to join a battery farm project in Sandwich, Kent. This role offers an excellent opportunity for ongoing work, with strong potential for extension across future projects and multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pulling and installing fibre and copper cables through pre-installed ducting across the site
  • Supporting fibre testing
  • Organising and labelling cabling systems to maintain site standards
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with site regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with fibre cabling installation and testing
  • Valid ECS/CSCS card (required)
  • Must have own transport and be able to commute daily to Sandwich, Kent
  • Strong understanding of cable management and fault testing procedures
