We are recruiting for an experienced Product Owner to support governance activities across an AWS cloud platform within a regulated organisation. This role sits between Engineering and Governance, focusing on strengthening cloud controls, improving technical documentation, and addressing platform findings. While you won't be designing architecture solutions, you will need a solid understanding of AWS architecture principles and processes to work effectively with Architects and Engineering SMEs.
Responsibilities
- Review and remediate governance and control findings within AWS
- Assess and enhance cloud governance frameworks and processes
- Partner with Engineering SMEs to produce and refine High-Level Design Documents
- Support design and governance approval processes
- Coordinate stakeholders and manage documentation timelines
- Ensure all outputs meet regulatory and internal compliance standards
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure
- Proven Technical BA experience / Product Owner Experience (preferred over Architect background)
- Experience with application management, governance, and lifecycle controls
- Comfortable operating in structured, regulated environments
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Jira (essential) and Confluence (desirable)
- Awareness of automation / Terraform beneficial
