We are looking for an AI and Automation Engineer for a long-standing client in Yorkshire. The role will focus on applying proven automation techniques while progressively adopting modern AI, agent-based and data-driven approaches. In this role you will solve real world problems using AI and Automation. The position reports to the Head of Data and will work alongside Business Intelligence and Data Engineer functions.
Please note - this is not a remote position, it is hybrid in the office, 2 days a week but there is quite a lot of flexibility to that, there might also be some travel within the UK.
Responsibilities:- Design, Build and Support AI Solutions
- Build Data Integrations - connecting a variety of systems across the business
- Apply copilot and other automation solutions.
- Work with Data Warehousing and Data Platforms (Data Factory / Fabric)
- Set good standards of data practises.
- Translate business problems into technical solutions and collaborate with the rest of the IT division and other stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can add value.
- MS Technology Stack - Databricks, Fabric, Copilot etc.
- Exposure to traditional automation techniques (RPA)
- Data Warehousing and Data Platform experience (Data Factory, Fabric or similar)
- Strong understanding of Data Governance
