Job Description

Senior Product Manager – up to £80,000 DOE – Leicester – Hybrid

My client is seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Senior Product Manager to join their team. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of their product strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market. You will be responsible for owning the product roadmap, defining product vision, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap: Lead the creation, execution, and communication of the product roadmap, aligned with company goals and customer needs.
2. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that product features are developed, launched, and optimized for success.
3. User-Centric Focus: Drive product decisions based on deep customer insights, feedback, and market research.
4. Leadership: Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
5. Execution: Oversee the full product life cycle, from ideation and planning to launch and iteration, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality products.
6. Metrics & Analysis: Track and analyse product performance metrics, using data-driven insights to inform future product improvements.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Function as the key product spokesperson, effectively communicating product updates, vision, and progress to key stakeholders, including executive leadership.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
2. Proven history of successfully managing and launching complex products from inception to delivery.
3. Strong technical background with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
4. Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
5. Experience working in an agile environment, with a deep understanding of product development methodologies.
6. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
7. A passion for innovation and delivering outstanding products that meet customer needs.
