I'm currently partnering with a growing Design & Build/Commercial Interiors business that is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to join its commercial team.
This is a relationship-led position focused on developing long-term client partnerships, identifying new opportunities and driving sustainable revenue growth. The role would suit someone who enjoys a consultative approach to business development and is confident engaging with senior stakeholders across the Design & Build, commercial interiors or construction sector.
- Identify and develop new Design & Build, refurbishment and fit-out opportunities
- Manage opportunities from initial engagement through to contract award
- Build relationships with key decision-makers, architects, consultants, project managers and industry partners
- Develop a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, industry events and market intelligence
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and long-term client growth
- Proven experience in Design & Build, commercial fit-out, commercial interiors, workplace consultancy or construction business development
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Comfortable managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close
- Proactive, self-motivated and driven by achieving commercial results
- An existing network across the sector would be highly advantageous
