An established Managed Service Provider (MSP) is looking for a driven and ambitious Business Development Manager to join its growing sales team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of B2B IT sales experience who is hungry to develop their career, build a strong pipeline and most importantly, earn through uncapped commission.
The business provides SMEs with a range of technology solutions including IT support, cybersecurity, cloud services and IT projects.
You'll be given a small number of existing accounts from day one, but the key focus of the role will be new business development - finding opportunities, winning new customers and growing your own portfolio.
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, cold calling, email, networking and referrals
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline
- Sell managed IT support, cybersecurity, cloud services, projects, hardware and software
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers
- Keep CRM records, pipeline activity and forecasting accurate
- Work towards and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
What we're looking for:
- We're looking for someone who is commercially hungry, competitive and motivated by earning potential.
- You don't need 5-10 years of sales experience. We're particularly interested in candidates with around 1-2 years of IT sales experience who are ready to take the next step.
- Around 1-2 years' B2B sales experience, ideally within IT, MSP, technology or telecoms.
- Keen to develop a long-term career in IT sales.
The right attitude matters:
We're looking for someone who wants to build a career and earn well, rather than simply manage a sales territory. If you're the type of person who enjoys chasing opportunities, closing deals and seeing your earnings increase as your performance improves, this could be a great opportunity.
- £35,000-£55,000 basic salary, depending on experience
- Strong earning potential for high performers
- A small number of existing accounts to get you started
- IT vendor training and certification opportunities
- Clear career progression
- Potential progression into senior sales, team leadership and management
- Hybrid working
- Strong work-life balance
If you've got 1-2 years of IT sales experience, understand the technology you're selling and are genuinely hungry to make money through commission, we'd like to hear from you.
