We are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join a leading UK-based retail business operating in the global customer and E-commerce market. The company delivers products to a global customer base through digital channels. They are a fast-growing, commercially driven organisation operating in a highly competitive customer and digital marketplace. This position allows you to provide financial insight to support strategic decisions, optimise performance, and drive sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities
- Partner with commercial, E-commerce, and operations teams to translate financial data into actionable insights that drive performance and growth.
- Build, manage, and improve core financial reporting across cashflow, budgets, forecasts, and profitability at product, channel, and business level.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs combining financial and operational data (e.g. sales, margins, inventory, marketing ROI) to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyse business-wide data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, supporting pricing, investment, and growth initiatives.
- Own budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, visibility, and alignment with commercial strategy.
- Enhance data quality, reporting tools, and financial models to improve visibility and support scalable growth in a fast-moving E-commerce environment.
About you
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner position, with experience in data, commercial finance, or analytics-focused finance.
- Strong data and reporting capability, with experience building and managing financial models, dashboards, and business-wide reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar desired) and financial systems.
- Solid understanding of cashflow, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis in a commercial environment.
- Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making across the business.
