We are working with a global digital organisation helping brands build meaningful, high-impact digital products. Their teams sit at the intersection of creativity, technology, and insight - designing and engineering platforms that scale, perform, and genuinely make a difference. They are now looking for a Senior Back End Engineer to join a cross-functional delivery team working on modern, content-driven web applications.

The role involves shaping and delivering secure, accessible, and high-performing digital solutions. You will work closely with designers, product specialists, and clients - contributing not just code, but ideas, leadership, and technical direction. This is a hands-on role with real influence, ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others and modernising platforms while still being close to delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining web applications using C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API
  • Building and integrating CMS-driven solutions (e.g. Umbraco, Sitecore or similar)
  • Providing technical leadership within your team, including code reviews and mentoring
  • Supporting platform modernisation, including adoption of .NET Core, Azure, and modern front-end frameworks
  • Collaborating with Product, UX, Strategy, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Championing best practices around accessibility, performance, security, and maintainability

What we’re looking for:

  • 5 years’ experience as a Software / Back End Engineer
  • Strong experience with C# / .NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Web APIs
  • Solid background working with CMS platforms (Umbraco, Sitecore, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS/Sass, JavaScript; React experience a plus)
  • Exposure to Azure, cloud-hosted infrastructure, and modern DevOps practices
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for mentoring others

Why join?

You’ll be part of a supportive, learning-focused engineering community within a large global organisation. We invest heavily in our people - offering opportunities to grow, experiment, and work on meaningful digital products at scale. Benefits include:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Generous paid time off
  • Hybrid working and flexible culture
  • Access to global learning, development, and career opportunities
  • Employee wellbeing and mental health initiatives
  • Regular team and community events

If you’re an engineer who enjoys combining strong back-end expertise with collaboration and impact, we’d love to hear from you.
