We're currently seeking an experienced Network Security SME to support a large-scale enterprise environment, with a focus on network containment strategy, documentation, and resilience planning. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in routing & switching (Cisco/FortiGate environments) and a strong background in creating operational runbooks and security documentation within complex or regulated environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mapping and documenting enterprise network environments (data centres, branches, remote access, ingress/egress)
- Identifying control points across Cisco, FortiGate and Zscaler
- Reviewing network/security configurations to support containment planning
- Developing clear, step-by-step containment runbooks
- Documenting shutdown procedures across access methods
- Producing network diagrams, interface inventories, and architecture documentation
