Requirements
- Experience in business development or consultative sales, ideally within cyber security, managed services, IT services, or professional services
- Strong understanding of cyber security and risk solutions, including areas such as MSSP, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, GRC, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, SIEM, MDR, XDR, EDR, cloud security, network security, IAM, and security awareness training
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders, including IT, Security, Risk, Compliance, and C-level decision-makers
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and close
- Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Strong proposal writing and CRM management skills
- Ability to achieve and exceed revenue targets
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across multiple sectors
- Generate our own pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and close
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand client challenges
- Present tailored cyber security solutions
- Build relationships with IT, Security, Risk, Compliance, and C-level stakeholders
- Produce proposals with technical consultants
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships
- Maintain CRM records and forecasts
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets
