IT Technician - Laptop Deployment Location: Solihull, West Midlands Rate: £180 per day Contract: 3-8 weeks Start Date: Immediate / ASAP Sector: Education We're currently looking for a hands-on IT Technician to join a school in Solihull on a short-term contract. This is a great opportunity for an IT Support professional who enjoys practical, hands-on work and has experience building, imaging and preparing laptops for deployment . The Role You'll be responsible for preparing a large number of laptops for use across the school, ensuring devices are correctly configured, fully updated and ready for users. Alongside the deployment work, you'll provide general IT support and help resolve day-to-day technical issues where required. Key Responsibilities Image and prepare Windows laptops for deployment. Configure devices, applications, software and updates. Carry out hardware and software troubleshooting. Ensure laptops meet the required configuration and deployment standards.
