eDV Microsoft Support Engineer in East Kilbride

Microsoft Support Engineer (eDV Cleared/Active UKIC DV) | £300 - £400 per day (Outside IR35) | 18 months, with potential for permanent (TBC) | Fully Onsite- London | Start: January 2027
We're looking for a Microsoft Support Engineer to join a secure MSP environment, providing operational support and administration of Microsoft identity, authentication and infrastructure services. This is a hands on, second-line role!
YOU MUST HAVE ACTIVE UKIC DV/eDV
There is potential for permanent after the 18 months (TBC)
Fully onsite in London
Key responsibilities
Provide second-line support for Microsoft server, identity and federation services
Manage and resolve incidents, service requests and operational changes
Monitor platform health, performance and service availability
Administer Active Directory, AD FS, Device Registration Services and authentication platforms
Support security patching, vulnerability remediation and certificate management
Essential skills and experience
Active UKIC DV or eDV clearance
Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory and AD FS
Windows Server administration
PKI
SQL Server
PowerShell automation
Working knowledge of authentication protocols, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Kerberos and NTLM
Previous experience working in secure government or defence environments would be ideal!
