Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year
Requirements:
- Commercial experience developing with Java and/or C++
- Strong experience working within Linux environments
- Experience building backend applications, APIs and distributed systems
- Understanding of software architecture, design patterns and object-oriented programming
- Experience with multithreading, debugging and performance optimisation
- Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, DevSecOps and Git workflows
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain scalable software systems using Java and C++ within Linux environments
- Work across technical design, architecture and engineering best practices
- Develop backend services, APIs and distributed applications
- Help deliver secure, reliable and maintainable software solutions
- Contribute to technical decisions
