OSCABE is seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems within a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing equipment reliability, identifying improvement opportunities, and optimizing maintenance strategies. You will work closely with maintenance and cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust electrical reliability and maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and perform inspections on critical electrical equipment to ensure operational reliability.
  • Analyze and document electrical equipment failures and recommend effective repair solutions.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and fault diagnosis to prevent recurring failures.
  • Apply risk-based decision-making to prioritize maintenance activities.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner to ensure alignment with CMMS systems.
  • Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to team members on electrical reliability practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports for the Maintenance Manager, including findings, recommendations, and project updates.
  • Support budgeting and CAPEX planning related to electrical reliability initiatives.
  • Coordinate with other departments to improve inspection, maintenance, and reliability processes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards and best practice.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and reliability engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
  • Proven experience conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Hands-on familiarity with electrical systems, PLCs, and control circuits.
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance with electrical standards.
