Osbornes Law

Are you a creative marketer looking for a role where you can do more than simply support from the sidelines?

Osbornes Law is an award-winning London law firm that has been helping individuals and families for more than 50 years. We are looking for a Marketing Assistant with at least one year's relevant experience to join our small and ambitious marketing and business development team.

This is a varied, hands-on role covering digital marketing, content, events, communications and business development. As part of a team of three, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership of projects and make a visible impact.

You will work closely with our Head of Business Development, who has more than 20 years' experience and a strong reputation for thinking outside the box to create exciting, distinctive and memorable campaigns.

There is plenty of room to shine. We are looking for someone with creative flair, confidence in their ideas and a genuine desire to learn, develop and progress.

What you will be doing:

  • Updating and publishing content on the firm's website.
  • Creating and scheduling engaging social media content.
  • Supporting email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
  • Helping to plan and deliver events, seminars and client hospitality.
  • Assisting with legal directory and award submissions.
  • Producing and proofreading brochures, presentations and other marketing materials.
  • Working with lawyers to develop content and bring marketing ideas to life.
  • Supporting business development research and firm-wide campaigns.
  • Taking ownership of agreed projects from initial idea through to delivery.
  • Monitoring marketing activity and helping to prepare reports.

About you:

You will have:

  • At least one year's experience in marketing, communications or business development.
  • Creative flair and the confidence to put forward new ideas.
  • The enthusiasm to take ownership of projects and see them through.
  • A genuine desire to develop your skills and progress your career.
  • Strong written English and excellent attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Confidence communicating with colleagues at all levels.
  • A proactive, positive and collaborative approach.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • An interest in digital marketing, social media and content creation.

Experience within a law firm or professional-services organisation would be useful, but it is not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the right marketing experience, ideas, attitude and ambition.

Experience using a content management system, Mailchimp or a CRM platform would also be an advantage.
