Our client is a Local Authority in the West Midlands which requires a Planning Officer to join their Development Management team to manage their own caseload of planning applications. These are expected to be householder and minor applications.
You will ideally have recent experience within a local authority development management team, however, consultancy experience is also welcome. A good grasp of UK planning legislation is required and you will need to have good communication skills and a positive attitude towards furthering your knowledge and gaining more technical experience. A relevant town planning degree is required.
The role is based in South East London and will pay Β£35/hr umbrella. This role is insider IR35.
It is initially a 3 month contract with potential for extension.
Our client offers a hybrid working arrangement, you will work from the office twice a week. One of those days will be a Tuesday.
You must have access to your own car/vehicle.
