Our client is offering an initial 5 month contract in their Asset Management and Compliance team, within Housing Services, to support the delivery of responsive repairs and voids works to 3,000 homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong social housing background and technical understanding of property maintenance / construction.
As a Repairs and Maintenance Lead you will be working closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and third-party contractors to meet commercial, operational, and safety performance objectives. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, working closely with back-office staff, surveyors, management and customers, as well as being a key liaison with third party contractors. The role has no line management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing work order schedules and ensuring quality outcomes and cost-effective services.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Carrying out contract management duties of third-party contractors.
- Supporting the Asset Management and Compliance team with service improvements as required.
Qualifications / Experience:
We need someone with proven experience in a management or senior supervisory role. You will need a solid understanding of project management principles and practices and a proven track record in delivering asset management projects focused on housing works within a Local Authority setting.
Compensation:
The day rate is £400 (inside IR35).
