Our client in the Midlands are seeking an experienced Service Improvement Lead to support a local authority Waste Service on an initial 3-month contract, with strong potential for extension. This is a hands-on, operational role focused on stabilising and improving day-to-day service delivery.
You will be embedded within the team, taking ownership of performance, resolving immediate operational challenges, and ensuring the service is running efficiently and meeting expected standards.
The successful candidate will bring proven experience in turning around underperforming frontline services, with the ability to quickly identify issues, implement practical solutions, and lead from the front.
