Our client, based in Sussex, is seeking an experienced Housing Standards Officer to manage Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) enquiries and deliver appropriate property adaptations. The role involves assessing feasibility, inspecting properties, processing grants, and ensuring adaptations meet Occupational Therapist recommendations, current legislation, and the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, while maintaining accurate records throughout.

Applicants must have proven experience in housing standards or DFG work, along with relevant qualifications in Surveying (BTEC or HND) or a related housing discipline. A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role requires visits to industrial, commercial, and residential premises.
