Our client is a Local Authority in South London and they require an Interim Head of Facilities Management and Capital Projects. Reporting to the Deputy Director Finance and Property, you will lead, manage and direct the strategy and internal governance for the delivery of facilities building management (FM) and capital projects across the Council and its partner services.
In order to be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone who has worked at this level for a UK local authority and who has experience of transforming and running an FM service. An understanding or working within a corporate landlord model would also be preferred. Experience of managing major projects and health and safety is also required.
You will need to be a confident leader with the ability to operate at a senior managerial level. It is important you are a good decision maker and you can influence others. You will have responsibility for overseeing a wide range of stakeholder relationships and you will need to be able to prioritise and guide work streams; you will need a good appreciation of operating within a political environment and having to deal with scrutiny from outside sources.
Our client is offering a rate of £695/day Umbrella and this role is inside IR35. This will be offered as a 12 month contract. Please get in touch for further details.
