Overview
We successfully secured a 3 year contract to deliver food premises inspections for a Local Authority client in South Yorkshire. We have 3 inspectors on the project and are looking for an additional resource to help deliver the year 1 programme of around 800 inspections in total.
Commitment & Availability
Ideally, the person would commit for the rest of this year (to end of March 27). We are also happy to consider candidates who are available for a short spell and can commit to a minimum of 100 inspections.
Responsibilities
The work is straightforward: visit the premises, complete the full inspection report and establish the risk and category rating. The inspections will predominantly be low risk, Cat C–E and new unrated businesses, on occasion some Cat B inspections may be required.
Qualifications
Evidence of competency is required: CPD record, relevant qualifications and a completed competency assessment document.
Contract & Working Arrangement
The work is outside IR35; you can work via a Limited Company or an umbrella company.
Remuneration
Pay ranges from £40 to £80 per inspection, depending on the risk rating.
