The predicted salary is between 110000 - 110000 £ per year.

You will work within The Estates Management Service in respect of the Council's owned premises (non-housing stock). You will be working to ensure that the authority has an effective Estates Management function in respect of Council owned premises, either directly occupied by the Council, vacant or leased to third parties.

The fundamental function of your role will be to provide effective contract and relationship management in respect of contractors and suppliers engaged in services relating to the operation of council's assets. This will be achieved by successfully line management of Estates Team.

We are looking for an accomplished managerial level candidate who has worked in this same capacity previously within a Local Authority. It is essential that you are confident working under Local government governance procedures and you are able to deal with challenges, particularly when it comes to stakeholder engagement.

Your technical knowledge will be sound as you will hold a degree in a relevant field and be a full corporate member of a professional body such as the RICS/BIFM. You will be an expert in Landlord and Tenant legislation and contract law.

The initial contract will be offered for 3-6 months and is likely to extend. £550/day outside IR35. Office presence is 3 days per week. You will need to have your own car for work purposes.
