Senior Planner (DM) in Essex

We are currently looking for a Senior DM Planner to join our client in Essex on a minimum 6 month contract.

You will work on a varied caseload having full responsibility to manage end to end.

On a regular basis you will conduct site inspections and prepare cases for Planning Appeals.

You will prepare committee reports and attend meetings where necessary.

We are looking for someone with experience of working on major development proposals who is able to articulate the material considerations of delivering sustainable development.

Good verbal communication skills both on the telephone and in person are essential as you must be confident conducting meetings with developers, elected members and the communicating with the public on planning queries and issues.

The pay rate will be £45/hr (umbrella).

You will be required 1-2 day per week in the office or travelling to sites and the remainder you can work from home.
