A Client of ours are jointly preparing for the implementation of the new Renter's Rights Bill 2025 and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the management team in planning and delivering a new, compliant service. This is a time-critical project with clear deadlines, focused on ensuring the councils are fully prepared with a resourced and operational service ahead of the 1 May 2026 implementation date.

The successful candidate will have proven project management experience within local government or the housing / regulatory sector, with a strong understanding of legislative change. You will support and coordinate a multi-disciplinary project group including Environmental Health, Housing, Housing Advice & Homelessness, Trading Standards, Legal, Finance, Data Intelligence and Communications.

Strong implementation planning, stakeholder management, and the ability to work at pace against statutory deadlines are essential. In return, the councils are offering a £500 per day rate (Umbrella), an initial 3-month rolling contract, and the opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-profile, resident-focused service change across Essex.
