Our client is a Local Authority in East London currently involved with a range of development across the Borough.

They need to appoint a Team Leader within their Developer Contributions Team, initially for 6 months with scope to extend.

As Team Leader you will establish and maintain performance targets for the team. The role will carry direct line management responsibility so you must have previous experience managing and supporting a Local Authority planning team where you act as the main reference point on complex planning obligations matters.

You must be able show a detailed knowledge managing the developer contributions process and ensuring effective processes are implemented to ensure the Council fulfils it’s obligations. On regular basis you will be collaborating with Finance colleagues to maintain robust internal controls so you must be a good team player.

It is essential that you have experience of enhancing service delivery through the use of Exacom. We would also expect membership of an appropriate professional body.

The working week is 36 hours. Pay rate is negotiable; we’d expect £45-£55/hr (umbrella). If you are currently on a higher rate please inform us and we can discuss at application stage.

You will be required tp attend the office once per week on a Tuesday with the rest of the team.
