Our client is looking to hire a Building Inspector to undertake a range of activities related to inspection, plan checking, and providing advice and guidance on building control matters.

They are open to considering all grades of Class 2 registration, with rates varying depending on experience. For Class 2F, the minimum pay rate is £60/hr.

Our client is a Local Authority in Berkshire, operating under the duties of the Building Act 1984 to ensure building regulation compliance. You will be assigned a workload appropriate to your experience and qualification level. Senior candidates will work with minimal supervision on a diverse caseload, focusing on dangerous structures.

Junior staff will work under supervision and will have opportunities to gain experience and handle casework within their capabilities.

Due to site work requirements, candidates should be within catchment of the Berkshire office.

The initial contract runs until the end of December 2025, with a high likelihood of extension through to March 2026.
