We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
  • Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition
  • Engage in meaningful communication to promote emotional well-being and companionship
  • Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff

Requirements

  • Holding a NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable.
  • Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
  • Good organisational skills to follow care plans accurately
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
  • Flexibility to work shifts as needed, including alternative weekends & Bank Holidays such as Christmas & New Year

We can offer a variety of hours to suit all, whether you are looking for part time or full time hours. Our shift times are 08:00 - 20:00 (With a one hour unpaid break).
