The role
Osborne Clarke is looking for a Senior Bids Executive to join our Bids team in either our Bristol or London office with occasional travel required.
The firm is rolling out its 2030 strategy, with a clear focus on flagship sectors and growth services.
We are evolving how we win, service and grow our client base.
This role is integral to our Bids ‘Centre of Excellence’, helping to embed best practice, deliver high quality bid responses and support the firm in increasing win rate and revenue.
- Reporting To The Bids Manager, You Will
- Support on complex bids and lead on others, using best practice bid processes to develop tailored responses for individual client requirements.
- Project manage bids end-to-end – from qualification to submission, presentations and debrief – including managing content and timelines.
- Be an integral part of driving forward bids improvement workstreams, facilitating continual improvement to maintain our bid ‘centre of excellence’ status.
- Take accountability for consistently delivering high quality outputs, regardless of task size or complexity.
- Support and lead on regular management information reporting, including to senior audiences.
- Collaborate proactively with the BD team and other Business Services teams to provide a joined-up, holistic approach to bids.
- Work closely with the Bids Managers and Head of Bids to drive positive change and upskill the firm, including the BD team, other Business Services teams and lawyers.
- Apply an expert eye to drafting first submissions, editing existing content and undertaking detailed proofreading.
- Engage seamlessly with key stakeholders across Marketing & Business Development, Partners and Sector Leaders, Finance and OC Solutions (legal tech).
- Seek ways to improve systems, processes and approaches, including through the use of AI, that will increase win rate and revenue.
