Overview
As a Service Innovation Lawyer in the Corporate Practice, you will champion AI-enabled delivery of legal services and help translate AI strategy into practical client solutions. You will collaborate with partners, the OC Solutions team, and clients to design products, refine delivery, and advance AI governance. This role blends corporate law expertise with technology to enhance service quality and efficiency across jurisdictions. You will receive tailored training to deepen your skills in legal tech and client service innovation. This is a strategic, cross-functional role with meaningful impact on how Osborne Clarke delivers value.
Responsibilities
- Work with Corporate fee earners on live matters to design and test AI-enabled service delivery
- Translate stakeholder requests into clear, deliverable plans with timelines and risk considerations
- Identify new AI-enabled products/services from live matter experience and client feedback
- Explain OC's AI delivery models, governance, and pricing to clients in practical terms
- Promote adoption of generative AI tools and workflows within the Corporate group under AI governance
- Monitor AI and legal tech developments and convert them into improvements for services and processes
- Provide professional support to OC and Business Services to foster continuous process improvement
Key requirements
- Qualified as a Lawyer with strong knowledge of Corporate law
- Genuine interest in AI, technology and service innovation with initiative to build expertise
- Ability to break down complex client asks into structured plans and manage ambiguity
- Strong communication and influencing skills to manage expectations with clients and lawyers
- Commercially astute with focus on delivering real client impact while balancing risk, cost and quality
