In this Corporate Knowledge Lawyer role, you will provide high-quality knowledge support to the Corporate team, helping to keep colleagues informed on legal developments and training. You’ll develop practical templates, champion AI and tech-enabled client service, and help shape the firm’s knowledge strategy. You’ll collaborate with partners and knowledge colleagues to deliver a cohesive knowledge offering and cross-functional training. This role offers a chance to influence how the firm delivers transactional work at scale in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the Corporate and wider team up-to-date on relevant legal and regulatory changes, including reader-friendly updates
  • Deliver and facilitate engaging legal training and know-how sharing
  • Develop and maintain a technically excellent collection of template documents
  • Proactively support the use of AI tools and technology relevant to Corporate work
  • Drive a consistent client knowledge offering including insights, horizon-scanning, multi-jurisdictional overviews, and client seminars/workshops/webinars
  • Address queries from lawyers and clients regarding current law and practice
  • Collaborate with existing Corporate Knowledge Lawyers
  • Input into and help deliver the Corporate team and Osborne Clarke Knowledge strategy

Key requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of law, regulation, and practice across corporate transaction types
  • Ability to present information clearly in writing and speaking
  • Pro-active self-starter with excellent organisational skills
  • Legally-qualified with relevant post-graduate experience
  • Experience as a fee-earning lawyer in private practice or in-house, academia, or a knowledge role (or returning from a career break)
  • Willingness to have informal conversations about fit for the role
  • Clear written and spoken communication
  • Proactivity and self-motivation
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Knowledge of AI tools and technology relevant to Corporate work
  • Experience creating or managing template documents
