After a long period of sustained growth, Osborne Clarke are looking to further invest in our Brand and Communications team, which has led to the creation of a Senior Social Media Executive role based in our Bristol or London office. This role will be central to shaping and delivering high-quality social content that tells our story, supports our 2030 strategic objectives and enhances the firm’s international reputation. This is a permanent position offering hybrid working.
The Senior Social Media Executive will be a key member of our Brand and Communications function within the Sales & Marketing team, working closely with our Content Manager and wider marketing colleagues. You will help plan, create and manage social content across our channels, with a strong focus on strategic storytelling, audience engagement and measurable impact. You will collaborate with partners, lawyers and business services colleagues to deliver content that promotes our brand, supports campaigns and drives meaningful engagement with our target audiences.
Key Role Responsibilities Include
- Social strategy & planning: Support the full Brand and Communications function in planning and delivering social content aligned to firm-wide priorities. Work closely with the Content Manager on social media strategy, editorial planning, social copy, approvals and publishing. Manage a portfolio of social content projects from ideation and production through to delivery and performance analysis. Advise international Sales and Marketing colleagues on social media projects and best practice.
- Content creation & campaign delivery: Produce high-quality social content for campaigns, brand activity, employer branding and wider firm initiatives. Manage and optimise paid social campaigns (particularly via LinkedIn Business Manager) to maximise performance, effectiveness and value for money. Ensure all content is on-brand, audience-focused and tailored for platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok. Create best-practice guidance, templates and training materials, and deliver sessions for business stakeholders to support effective content creation.
- Channel management & optimisation: Manage social media platforms and tools such as Sprout Social, LinkedIn Business Manager and employee advocacy platforms, ensuring the team maximises their features and capabilities. Track and evaluate social channel performance to optimise future engagement and planning. Monitor sentiment, engagement and reputation across social channels, escalating issues as required. Support crisis communications response on social channels, as required.
- Stakeholder engagement & governance: Build strong relationships with partners, lawyers, PAs and marketing and business development colleagues, providing proactive, practical social media support. Create and manage an effective social media approvals process that balances governance with agility. Support the development of clear processes and workflows (e.g. using tools such as monday.com) to enhance productivity and collaboration.
- Measurement, insight & continuous improvement: Drive measurable growth in social engagement, audience size and ROI. Interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations to improve content and campaigns. Stay up to date with social media trends, platforms and features, identifying opportunities for innovation and improved audience engagement.

- Strong agency and stakeholder management skills, including developing clear briefs to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Approachable and effective communicator, skilled at translating technical concepts into practical terms and supporting colleagues across the business.
- Strong social listening, reputation monitoring and governance experience, with the ability to identify risks early and escalating issues appropriately.
- Strong process and workflow management skills (e.g. monday.com).
- Experience using social media management tools, ideally including Sprout Social.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Premiere Pro and Adobe Express.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
