We are looking for an Inclusion and Wellbeing Senior Manager to help shape and deliver our Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing strategies across the firm. This is a high-profile role with significant scope to influence how our people work, feel and thrive. This role is a 14 month fixed term contract, based out of our Bristol or London office with some homeworking too.
The Role
You will sit within our HR function as part of the Responsible Business Team, working closely with the Head of Responsible Business, the Head of Health, Safety & Wellbeing, and the Diversity and Talent Senior Manager. The purpose of the role is to drive the delivery of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing strategies, with a particular focus on employee engagement, learning and development, and allyship. You will play a central role in embedding sustainable, inclusive ways of working as the foundation of a high‑performance culture, while providing strategic support to key stakeholders and employee networks across Osborne Clarke.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Leadership
- Play an integral role in developing and promoting sustainable and inclusive ways of working as the basis of high performance at Osborne Clarke.
- Lead the delivery of the Wellbeing strategy for Responsible Business, in partnership with the Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing.
- Play an active role in the Wellbeing Working Group and the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Steering Committee.
- Support the design and development of Osborne Clarke’s Diversity & Inclusion strategy to 2030.
- Support the Executive Board Sponsor to lead and improve the effectiveness of governance and internal reporting around inclusion and wellbeing.
- Programme Design, Delivery & Engagement
- Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of innovative inclusion programmes – including Inclusion Allies, Reverse Mentoring and reciprocal coaching – using data and feedback to review impact and enhance outcomes.
- Collaborate with the People Development team and the Training & Development Governance Board to embed inclusion and wellbeing into the central learning and development offering for our people.
- Provide strategic support and guidance to employee‑led networks, working with chairs and senior champions to maintain a clear focus on purpose, impact and intersectionality.
- Act as a Centre of Excellence for HR Business Partners, enabling effective communication of inclusion and wellbeing priorities to the areas of the business they support, and ensuring feedback from those areas informs our approach.
- Collaboration, Influence & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders, including the Diversity and Talent Senior Manager, Health, Safety & Wellbeing team, Rewards & Benefits team, People Development team, HR Business Partners, wider HR team, and Communications teams (including Bids, Events and CRM).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OC Diversity Network chairs and champions, the Diversity Champions Forum, and external partners such as diversity and inclusion consultancies, facilitators and professional networks.
- Support the Rewards & Benefits Senior Manager to design and promote Osborne Clarke’s wellbeing benefits offering.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Line manage the Inclusion and Wellbeing Advisor, supporting their development and the successful delivery of their role objectives.
- Role model collaborative, inclusive leadership and help create the conditions for good wellbeing within your team.
- Actively manage your own personal training and development, identifying suitable development opportunities.
- Undertake any other duties required to ensure the efficient operation of the Responsible Business and HR team.

- Excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to role‑model and drive collaboration and integration across teams, and to use your connections to bring people together.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships and networks, and to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, managing multiple demands and priorities effectively.
- Expert knowledge of diversity, inclusion and wellbeing as commercial risks, and how to manage those risks effectively in a professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of the demands and pressures faced by professionals working in fast‑paced corporate environments, and the ability to use this insight to anticipate the expectations of internal clients and contribute positively to their experience.
- Experience of managing and developing a high‑performing team, with a clear understanding of your role in creating the conditions for good wellbeing for those you supervise.
