Role profile Our IT Services team have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as an IT Infrastructure Engineer (known internally as Platforms & Networks Operations Engineer).

The successful candidate will provide 3rd line level support of Osborne Clarke's global Data and Voice Network Infrastructure, Platforms, Servers and Systems, whilst playing key roles in migrations and deployments enabling OC to sustain a well-established cloud-smart approach.

This is a permanent position based out of our Bristol office, combined with some home working.

What you'll do You will provide a comprehensive level of support to the global business for Osborne Clarke's physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure, connectivity including wired and wireless networks, and key services such as e-mail, telephony and Saa S, Paa S & Iaa S platforms.

Provide professional support to Osborne Clarke so that our clients receive consistently excel-lent services.

Support and follow Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management procedures along-side other IT Services teams, aligned with the ITIL framework.

Assist with specific escalations from the out-of-hours support team, where IT operations expertise is required, following an on-call rota in the team.

Maintaining and developing the integrity and security of all components comprising various client's network and operational platforms, including all data.

Working in collaboration with suppliers and other IT services teams to ensure the smooth de-livery of such products to the firm.

Contribute to testing processes and support infrastructure for internally or externally developed and applications/implementations.

Awareness of advances in technology, new software applications and new hardware in order to serve as an advisor to other employees.

We'll expect you to have good knowledge of cloud and virtualisation technologies, networking principles and Windows server architecture and services.

Alongside this, a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and the Azure platform will also be needed.

Microsoft Entra ID and Office 365 with E5 licensing.

Document Management Systems and other core legal applications.

Physical Infrastructure: Network/Server Hardware, Cabling, Datacentres.

Patch management systems including Azure Update Manager, SCCM, WSUS. Microsoft SQL Server setup, licensing and Azure SQL management.

Call management solutions and workflow tools such as Ni CE CXone and Service Now.
