Osborne Clarke are looking to add to their Change & Transformation team with an exciting new FTC Senior Business Analyst opportunity in our Bristol office. This role will involve all business analysis activities around our CRM portfolio of work from supporting strategic design to delivering against agreed projects and programmes, ensuring our clients receive consistently excellent service. You will also be expected to promote a culture of mutual understanding through effective communication across the OC business as a whole. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering hybrid working.

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for delivering the following activities:

  • Supporting and shaping a portfolio of work, with a clear understanding of strategic impact and cross-portfolio dependencies.
  • Contributing to the development of target operating models aligned to business strategy.
  • Understanding and documenting the context of project requests, the needs of the business, and the benefits targeted, against the strategic roadmap and relevant KPIs.
  • Providing data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes.
  • Supporting the sponsor in their development of a business case, ensuring costs and benefits are clearly defined.
  • Supporting the creation of project, business, and user documentation to enable the delivery of the associated business objectives and outcomes.
  • Capturing the 'as-is' and 'to-be' states using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Eliciting and documenting business requirements and ensuring they are prioritised by the business and signed off.
  • Acting as the voice of the business, serving as the key liaison between business stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Supporting the vendor selection process, including inputting into RFPs and assessing the outcome of tenders against requirements.
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensuring solutions meet business needs.
  • Working hand in hand with the other Change & Transformation teams (PMO, Project Management and Change Management) to successfully deliver change to the business.

We are looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience working on CRM implementation or transformation initiatives, particularly in discovery and business case creation.
  • Strong experience in the creation of target operating models, supporting or developing.
  • A proven ability to solve complex problems and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience of the end-to-end project life cycle and associated BA tools and skill sets (from requirements gathering, through to solution development, process/workflow mapping through to the embedding of associated benefits).
  • Experience using tools to capture and analyse requirements and to produce clear visual process maps (ideally using Microsoft tools).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt your style to a range of activities and audiences, including senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work across the more complex projects and programmes within our portfolio, and to be able to handle ambiguity and drive clarity.
  • A focus on providing excellent customer service to our internal clients as part of our high-performing team.
  • A recognised business analysis qualification.
