Role profile
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Business Support Team (BST). This position is a 6-month fixed-term contract role, with working hours from 9am to 5pm. Due to the nature of the work involved, the role will be based on-site in our new Bristol office.
The team
This position reports to the BST Team Leader and will be based in the central Document Services Team in Bristol, which consists of 3 team members working alongside the BST. The team supports the Bristol office and the firm-wide operations when necessary. The wider BST team includes teams in Bristol (17 members), London (9 members), and Reading (3 members), comprising document specialists, legal secretaries, and administrative assistants covering various tasks and hours to meet business needs.
The Role
The successful candidate will support the team and office with onsite tasks such as post scanning, copying, printing, and general administration.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality administrative and reprographics support to all legal teams.
- Organize large-volume printing, photocopying, and document production.
- Support other departments and assist with general duties as required.
- Quality check work to ensure high standards and accuracy.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service at all times.
- Build positive relationships across the business.
Requirements:
- Previous administration experience.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Good time management skills.
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook).
