Osborne Appointments have an exciting opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative with our client based in Magor with guaranteed hours. This role will be ongoing and is a great opportunity to join the company that offers training, excellent benefits and has a friendly work environment. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be working for one of the UK's leading food and drink wholesalers.

PAY: £14.13 p/h + Holiday Pay

Overtime: £29.11

SHIFTS: Any 5 out of 6 - 10:00am-18:00pm. *Please note the training for this role will be 06:00-14:00, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick orders accurately and efficiently using hand-held scanners.
  • Load picked items onto pallets, ensuring they are stacked securely and safely.
  • Label pallets and prepare them for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and prioritise work assignments.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre, particularly in order picking and pallet loading.
  • Familiarity with using hand-held scanners and warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures at all times.
